Getting to Langara College.

Where is Langara College located?
Langara College is located at 100 West 49th Avenue, Vancouver on the corner of West 49th and Ontario Street.

How do I get to Community Day?
Langara is promoting a car-free, sustainable day and we encourage you to walk, bike, bus, or train to campus. The College is easily accessible via public transit by Canada Line and bus. Visit translink.ca to plan your journey. The Bicycle Valet will also be on campus for cyclists out there. The Bicycle Valet have also created a handy pdf summarizing your sustainable transit options to the College.

Where can I park?
We are promoting a car-free event. Limited on-campus parking will be available but we recommend other transit options given the scale of the event. If you’re planning to drive, carpool with others. And please be mindful of the residents only parking signs around the neighbourhood.

Is there somewhere safe to lock my bike?
100%! We are excited to offer a Bicycle Valet service near our Ontario Street entrance. Park your ride and enjoy the day.

Will there be stroller parking?
Yes, free stroller parking will be available next to the Daycare (Bldg D) on the campus map. The Daycare will also be open for the day for you to access the change facilities and playground. All children must be supervised at all times.

Is it a dog-friendly event?
Dogs are welcome to attend the outdoor portions of the event but must be on leash at all times. Dogs are not permitted inside campus buildings unless they are a service dog.

Who do I contact if I require accessibility accommodations?
If you are planning to attend Community Day and require accessibility accommodations, please feel free to email beyond49@langara.ca in advance so that we can best assist you.

Can I get water on site? Will there be free water fill stations?
Did you say free water? Be one of the first to visit the RBC Water Station and receive a free refillable water bottle. RBC will also be stationed on campus to refill your bottle all day or go to one of the many water stations inside the campus buildings. Check out the map for details. GULP!
